WHAT

The 2027 release of the groups second EP “Dear Alberta” marks a fresh brand on the hide of the Canadian Country Music Scene and TOWS is here to stay. A five song charm bracelet showcasing what the west is like for rural and city folk alike. Hailing from a place you’ve never heard of, Alberta.

TOWS has been bringing their hard hitting country roots sound to the Canadian midwest since their debut in 2024. Frontman Ty Orvald Wayne Lindberg sings hard scrabble songs of everyday prairie people whose lives he’s seen grow and change like the sun-whipped wheat stalks of the western plains. Wayne’s throaty tenor evokes such luminaries as John Anderson and John Conlee. His tough luck twang, pedal steel & telecaster accompaniment help carry the western centric lyricism, becoming a time-machine for listeners straight to the honkytonks and roadhouse bars of the past.

Longtime singing partner and collaborator Tayler Grace uplifts and shines like a lighthouse with her contemporary harmonies (akin to Bella White, Erin Rae) that brings modernity to the throwback stylings of TOWS. The duo complement each other like a stained glass pool hall chandelier silhouettes a smoke filled tavern.

TOWS is a live show, no bullshit, country band. A place, a time and a people. The sounds of the prairies and a province. North to South, East to West. Delivered to you straight as the Alberta bad lands and as pure its mountain streams.
